...when the trumpet soundeth long, they shall come up to the mount. Ex. 19:13

Matt. 24:29-31  Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:  (30)  And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.  (31)  And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

1 Cor. 15:51-52  Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,  (52)  In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

1 Thess.  4:15-17  For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  (16)  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  (17)  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Rev. 20:5-6  But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.  (6)  Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

None of the above verses say anything about a secret rapture before the Tribulation.  Assimilation of these verses teaches emphatically that the church will be raptured after the Seventh Trumpet begins to sound, and after the First Resurrection of the dead in Christ.

1 Thess. 5:9  For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, This verse is the favorite of dispensationalists who try to prove a PreTribulation Rapture. They assume that the Tribulation is a result of God’s Wrath. But Jesus taught us that it was the result of man’s hatred against man.

Matt. 24:4-10  And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.  (5)  For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.  (6)  And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.  (7)  For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.  (8)  All these are the beginning of sorrows.  (9)  Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.  (10)  And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

The Greek word translated as ‘afflicted in the verse above is ‘thlipsis,’  The word,  thlipsis, simply means, “pressure.” Thlipsis appears 45 times in the New Testament where it is translated as Tribulation (s) 21 times and as affflction (s)  17 times. The remaining 7 times it is translated as some other word having much the same meaning, such as anguish. So we should see that there are many degrees of tribulation.  However, and where ever, and by whosoever that the church is under any degree of pressure for the Faith, it is in Tribulation.

Jesus taught that tribulations would begin with the beginning of sorrows, and that  the signs of those things are the same kinds of things we have been living with for nearly two thousand years. But He also taught there would be one single period of time of GREAT TRIBULATION.

Mat 24:21-24  For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.  (22)  And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.  (23)  Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.  (24)  For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

If the days are to be shortened for the sake of the elect, there must still be some elect present on earth that are experiencing them. If any of Jesus’ elect are present, the rapture cannot have occurred. Jesus said the source of tribulations is not God, but Man, (then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted.) We must, therefore, understand that this will be that time during the GREAT TRIBULATION.

Millions of Christians were tortured and put to death during the Muslim conquest of Spain and Byzantium. The conquest of Spain lasted from 711 AD to 1492 AD. In Spain the Muslims were and are today called Moors. Hatred for the Moors runs deep in Spain, especially among the Andalusian Catholics. I was stationed in Rota, Andalusia, Spain my last overseas tour of duty in the Navy. The Spanish called a moor by the name of a Moe. My kids came home from school talking about Moes, and I did not know what, or who they were talking about. I later found out, from a Spaniard of Royal Lineage, that Moes were the Moors who chose to convert to Catholism instead of being deported back to Muslim Africa where they came from during the Muslim conquest of Spain.

Today there are many millions of Muslims who are the lineage of those expatriated Muslims from Spain who are demanding Spanish Citizenship again. I have little doubt that they will eventually get the United Nations involved with this demand, since Spain is even now repatriating Jews whose ancestors were expelled from Spain. Spain will most likely be the first nation to fall to the Muslims as even now the spread of the reborn Ottoman Empire has begun!

Rev. 3; 7-13  And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;  (8)  I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.  (9)  Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.  (10)  Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.  (11)  Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.  (12)  Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.  (13)  He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Therefore, it is imperative that we study the church in Philadelphia and make sure we have been placed there by Jesus.  For more about the church in Philadelphia see the page, The Churh in Phiadelphia And The Fourth Seal for more about the spread of Islam over the world.

Rev. 11:15-19  And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.  (16)  And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,  (17)  Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.  (18)  And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.  (19)  And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

When the Temple is opened the souls of the saved are seen under the altar, saved from Death forever. Satan and his angels see them and realize they have not won a thing in all of efforts against the church. The War in Heaven starts and Satan and his angels are cast down to earth. The church is raptured and the age of grace ends when the Seventh Trumpet sounds! This is a SUMMARY of events that began thousands of years ago. So how could Satan see the saints of all ages under the altar when he fell from grace before there was ever a church? See the page, TIME AND ETERNITY, for a thorough examination of How Time and Eternity are connected. But to continue, just understand that eternity is statically timeless and all of Time from The Beginning to the End are accessible from ETERNITY!

Rev. 12:7-14  And there was war in Heaven. Michael and his angels warring against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels warred,  (8)  but did not prevail. Nor was place found for them in Heaven any more.  (9)  And the great dragon was cast out, the old serpent called Devil, and Satan, who deceives the whole world. He was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.  (10)  And I heard a great voice saying in Heaven, Now has come the salvation and power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of His Christ. For the accuser of our brothers is cast down, who accused them before our God day and night.  (11)  And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony. And they did not love their soul until death.  (12)  Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and those tabernacling in them. Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and in the sea! For the Devil came down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has but a little time.  (13)  And when the dragon saw that he was cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who bore the man child(14)  And two wings of a great eagle were given to the woman, so that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the serpent's face.

Rev. 12:1-2  And there appeared a great sign in the heavens, a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon was under her feet, and a crown of twelve stars on her head,  (2)  and having a babe in womb, she cries, being in travail, having been distressed to bear.

This sign was seen on the 23rd of September, 2017 during the Feast of Trumpets. I was watching on the open source program, “Stellaris.” Admittedly, without the art forms added, it is hard for me to imagine these stellar arrangements as anything but points of light. But the constellations have been named for centuries. So stargazers have seen them as something.

Even when John saw this vision of the woman, the persecution of Israel her seed and the church, the remnant of her seed, had already begun. And of course the birth of Jesus had been some 96 years earlier, so this sign was already being fulfilled when John saw the vision.

It is unknown if any signs on earth accompanied it at the time. John saw the sign of the virgin after he saw the signs of the seventh trumpet sounding, but before he saw the signs of the Seven Bowls of Wrath.  After the sign in Virgo, John saw Satan cast down to earth.  We must keep in mind that the scenes John was witnessing were being shown to him from ETERNITY. These scenes are not shown sequentially as if one follows another. The scenes can be separated from each other by hundreds or even thousands of years, either before or after one another, when they occur on Earth.

Rev. 12:3-6  And another sign was seen in the heavens. And behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on his heads!  (4)  And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and cast them onto the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman being about to bear, so that when she bears he might devour her child.  (5)  And she bore a son, a male, who is going to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her child was caught up to God and to His throne.  (6)  And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she had a place prepared by God, so that they might nourish her there a thousand, two hundred and sixty days.

I know of nothing to suggest that this sign has ever been seen in the skies.  The Constellation Draco (Dragon) can be seen toward the North Star, Polaris, on most clear nights in the Northern Hemisphere. But, as far as I have been able to determine, Draco has only one head and no horns. It seems much more likely that John was seeing a visual representation of the succession of Empires that have been in control of the land of Israel over the ages.

Rev 12:7-17  And there was war in Heaven. (15)  And the serpent cast out of his mouth water like a flood after the woman, so that he might cause her to be carried away by the river.  (16)  And the earth helped the woman. And the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the river which the dragon cast out of his mouth.  (17)  And the dragon was enraged over the woman, and went to make war with the rest of her seed, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

The scene of the war in heaven probably depicts the time of the fall of Satan and the angels that sided with him. The overall evidence of Satan being cast down to earth is that Satan and his domininions have been here on earth either before or just after man was created. It seems that only Satan still had access to the Heavens at that time. The Book of Enoch shows them asking Enoch to intercede with God on their behalf and God telling them that they were supposed to be interceding for man and not man for them. The Book of Enoch also tells of the demons taking the daughters of men for wives and thus raising an entire race of giants that were entirely wicked and dominant on earth before the flood. All of these demons were buried deep in the earth with sharp rocks cast in upon them until they were in utter darkness to await the time of  judgment. These then could be demonic spirits that are released when the Fifth Seal is lifted and the bottomless pit is opened, Rev. 9:1-12. All of their giant offspring perished in the flood, but it seems some of the genetic strains were continued in one or more of the wives of Noah’s sons producing giants among the heathen for a number of years.

The scene of the Woman Israel fleeing into the wilderness most probably refers to the last great dispersion of the Jews into the gentile world at the destruction of Jerusalem in  A.D. 70. This dispersion has continued on through the ages and up until today. Even though Israel now is an established nation with Jerusalem as its capital there is lot yet to transpire. There will come a time in the future, probably sooner rather than later, that the United Nations will establish some kind of treaty with Israel that will allow them to rebuild their Temple. That will mark the start of the seven years of Jacob’s Trouble. The temple will be finished and furnished very quickly as Israel is prepared to start at a moments notice when it appears that they can do so without incurring the wrath of the infidels all over the earth.

Make no mistake, the United Nations is, and has been from its inception, the instrument of Satan. Established for the stated purpose of ending war and bringing peace, it should be readily seen that Jesus said there would be wars and rumors of wars that would continue until the time of the end. (Matt. 24:6) Therefore, it is not war, but peace that becomes the sign of the end of times.

Dan. 8:23-25  And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.  (24)  And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.  (25)  And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

1 Thess. 5:3  For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape

2 Thess 2:3-4  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;  (4)  Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

At some point of time after the treaty is in place that allows Israel to build the Temple, a supernaturally endowed, highly charismatic individual shall come on the scene declaring himself to be the Jewish Messiah. He will perform many miracles, and preach inspiring sermons, uniting the world with one religion. Fooling many Christians to apostate and become a part of the falling away that must occur before the return of Our Lord. He shall enter the Temple and take for his place the Holy of Holies declaring himself to God. This will be Satan occupying the body of totally dissolute believer in Islam.

There is no secret about how do avoid being deceived by this DECEIVER. Jesus had promised his church that we will not have to go anywhere to see him when he returns. He shall send his angels to gather us from the four winds of the heavens as the sign of his coming appears in the heavens. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, we shall be caught up together with the dead in Christ to meet Him in the air. Until that happens do not be deceived by any man.

John then saw the rise of the Kingdom of the Great Read Dragon from the sea in The 13th Chapter of the Revelation before the signs of the bowls of wrath. When John saw this sign, it would be over 600 years before the first kingdom of the Red Dragon began to rise up from around the Mediterranean Sea. When this Kingdom of the Ottoman Empire was defeated in World War One, It became the head of the beast that was wounded unto death and then healed. See Rev. 13:3 below.

Rev 13:1-10  And I stood on the sand of the sea, and I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns. And on its horns were ten crowns, and on its heads was the name of blasphemy.  (2)  And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and its feet like those of a bear, and its mouth like the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave him its power and its seat and great authority.  (3)  And I saw one of its heads as having been slain to death, and its deadly wound was healed. And all the earth marveled after the beast.  (4)  And they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast. And they worshiped the beast, saying, Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with it?  (5)  And a mouth speaking great things was given to it, and blasphemies. And authority was given to it to continue forty-two months.  (6)  And it opened its mouth in blasphemy toward God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, and those dwelling in Heaven.  (7)  And it was given to it to war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given to it over every tribe and tongue and nation.  (8)  And all dwelling on the earth will worship it, those whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain, from the foundation of the world.  (9)  If anyone has an ear, let him hear.  (10)  He who leads into captivity will go into captivity. If anyone will kill with the sword, he must be killed by a sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

The scenes John described in Revelation Chapters Twelve had already been happening on earth when He saw them revealed in heaven. The scene in Chapter 13 verses 1 through 10 was explained to John In Revelation Chapter 17 verses 7-14 below.

Rev. 17:7-14  And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.  (8)  The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.  (9)  And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.  (10)  And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.  (11)  And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.  (12)  And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.  (13)  These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.  (14)  These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

This beast represents the Empires that have had control of the lands bordering the Mediterranean Sea throuhout the ages.  Jesus told John, The seven heads are seven mountains, Empires, upon which the woman sits, and there are seven kings over those seven empires. At the time John saw the vision, Jesus said that five of those kingdoms had already fallen.

Those five Empires that had already fallen were: the Assyrian, The Babylonian, The Medes. The Persians, and The Greeks. There was one of those empires in Existence at the time John saw the vision, the Roman Empire. Then Jesus said a seventh king would replace the Romans. This kingdom represents the Ottoman Empire that defeated the Romans over a 700 year period and no sooner had won the entirety of the Roman Empire than it started to decline and was defeated in Word War One by the Allied Forces.  This was the head that was wounded unto death.

Jesus said there would be an eighth represented by the ten horns who give their power over to Satan as re reunites the Ottoman Empire. They are defeated by Jesus at His Return to Jerusalem. The next event that occurs after that defeat will be the formation of the Millennial Kingdom.

Rev. 13:11-18  And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.  (12)  And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.  (13)  And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,  (14)  And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.  (15)  And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.  (16)  And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:  (17)  And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.  (18)  Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Rev. 13:11-18 reveal Satan taking control of the reborn Ottoman Empire. This is the one of whom Jesus spoke in Matt. 24:24, “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”  The Jesus gave the elect a message telling them how to keep from being deceived by the Antichrist: Matt 24:25-27  Behold, I have told you before.  (26)  Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.  (27)  For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

The only Christians who will be deceived by Antichrist are those who have not studied to show themselves approved. If you are alive and remain at the time of that Antichrist takes control of the His Kingdom of the reborn Ottoman Empire, remember that you will not have to go anywhere to see Jesus when He returns.

Matt. 24:28  For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

A carcaase is a dead body. An eagle is the same as a vulture in the New Testament. Jesus said the vultures would flocking around the dead body at the time of his return. “And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.

The vultures are gathering around the churches of Sardis even today. There are two assemblies that Jesus mentioned after Sardis. Philadelphia of which he had no rebuke, but promised to keep them from the the hour of testing; and Laodicea where he shown standing OUTSIDE OF THE ASSEMBLY,  ASKING FOR ANYONE TO LET HIM INTO THEIR HEART.

Jesus said, “Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.”  Even in Sardis there are yet a few who have kept their faith. But those in Sardis should be warned that “bad companions spoil good manners. Come out of Sardis now, and become a Philadelphian if you want to be kept from the time of testing that will come upon the whole earth! Join yourselves to others who are keeping the faith and doing the works of Faith.

A time is soon coming when all of Sardis will become Laodiceans and Jesus will be standing outside of your churches asking if anyone will hear him and let him in so He can save them. But understand that Laodicea is the assembly of the Nicolaitans, which thing Jesus hates. The scripture is not held to be paramount in Laodicea, but the will of the Majority. For a complete study of these things you should read the section, “The Chuches of the Revelation,” There are eight pages in this section and each church is covered separately after the first introductory page.

Jesus speaks of a mark of the beast in the verses above and then says that this mark is 666. Six is the number of a man, and three sixes represent not the Holy Trinity but the unholy trimity of man. Man is supreme. Man decides what Truth is. Man decides what Justice is. Man decides all things for himself, each person being the god of their own lives. It is Satan telling men to become like him. This is what is happening in assemblies of Sardis and Laodiceans today. Jesus is yet calling, “Look unto me and be ye saved.

To continue this study go to the pages of the section, “The Bowls of Wrath.”

The Power to Love

1 Pet. 4:8-9  And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall

cover the multitude of sins.  (9)  Use hospitality one to another without grudging.

Rom. 13:8  Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath

 fulfilled the law.

John 15:12  This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.  (23)  I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. Isa. 45:22-23

1 Cor. 12:31  But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.

1 Cor. 13:8  Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
