WELCOME TO THE FIRST DAY OF CREATION
THE FIRST AND SECOND DAYS OF CREATION ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT EVENTS IN THE BIBLE. IF YOU DO NOT BELIEVE THINGS REALLY HAPPENED AS THEY HAVE BEEN RECORDED, YOU WILL NEVER BELIEVE THAT EVERY WORD OF THE BIBLE, EVERY JOT AND TITLE, IS THE INSPIRED WORD OF GOD. YOU WILL BE LOST IN A MUDDLE OF CONFUSION ABOUT EVERYTHING ELSE IN THE RECORD THAT WE CALL THE HOLY BIBLE.
Gen. 1:1-5 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. (2) And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. (3) And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. (4) And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. (5) And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. For there to have been a beginning, 'Time' must already have existed. Any concept of the Eternal means that Time and Eternity cannot exist together simultaneously. Time is a finite measure, while Eternity is infinite. Time has a Beginning and an end; Eternity has neither. Therefore, when the creation episode began, God inserted 'Time' into a “vacuum” he made within Eternity, and He gave it both a beginning and an end. Then He "atomized" Time into infinitesimally small pieces within the vacuum and uniformly distributed those “atoms of time” from Beginning to End. To describe these infinitesimally small pieces, the Apostle Paul used the Greek word, "atomos." Click HERE to see more information about the atoms of time
Since Eternity and God are both infinite, it requires us to conclude that they are both one and the same. It also requires us to conclude that both Time and the Creation exist "inside" of God. All of Time and Creation exist within the Godhead. When God atomized Time, He caused it to begin passing from atom to atom from the Beginning to the End. The atom is defined as the smallest possible division a anything. So an atom of Time cannot be further divided. The Atom of Time is the smallest possible measure of Time, and it is so infinitesimally small that the Human mind cannot grasp it.
Nevertheless, it is still a piece of Time. And, since Time is just a series of pieces, there has to be something between those pieces or there would be no way to measure it. The Beginning and the End would be simultaneously and instantly united together if there were no separations within it. It would have no measure. So, because God atomized time, there must be something separating those atoms. Since God inserted Time into Eternity, that which separates each atom of Time is Eternity. Since Time has been inserted into Eternity and the Creation has been inserted into Time, all of Time and all of The Creation, and all that is living within the Creation, literally exists within Eternity or the Godhead. "For in him we live, and move, and have our being;...For we are also his offspring." (Acts 17:28)
God created the Heaven and Earth. When He created these two, He did so within the Time He had just placed within eternity. And He placed them at the Beginning. The "heaven" being all of Creation, and the Earth placed somewhere within the Heaven. Later on in Time God would divide the Heaven into two parts, the atmosphere of Earth and the Heaven we call "space. "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork." (Psalms 19:1)
Genesis 1:2 does not present to us a separate Creation Event but is a description of the the conditions that existed within the Heaven and Earth at the moment of their Creation. "The earth was without form and void;" The Hebrew word that is translated, "without form," means "to lay waste and desolate."
"and darkness was upon the face of the deep." Darkness is the absence of Light. It can mean either Spiritual darkness or material, physical darkness. in this case it is both. The term, "the face," means the surface of that desolate waste. The term, "of the deep," means the abyss, which can mean a turbulent mass of water. Therefore, at its creation, the earth was a turbulent and desolate mass of water.
Since darkness was on the face of the deep, God was not on the face of the deep. I believe that this was because God is eternal, and time does not exist outside of the place in His Mind in which He created Time and then placed the heaven and the earth around it. So, in the first atoms of Time, God had not yet inserted himself into either the time or the universe he had just created. Since the face of the deep at that time was a place where God was not, this was to be the place of the Outer Darkness which will be explained in more detail when God separates the light from the darkness. This place of The Outer Darkness still exists on the face of the abyss today. It is a dark place of nothing that surrounds this Material Universe separating it from the Eternal Spiritual Realm of the Kingdom of God. The Outer Darkness is a place of dark nothing to which the damned are condemned to be forever removed from all things of the Godhead.
"and the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters”. The sense of these words in Hebrew is that the Spirit of God Brooded upon the surface of the waters to relax them.
Genesis 1:3 "And God said, Let there be light: and there was light." We must take note of the fact that at this point in the Creation the only source of Light was God Himself. (1 John 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.)Therefore, God filled his entire Creation, throughout all Time, with His Eternal Spiritual Light. And that is why "the Heavens declare the glory of God." I am certain Adam was created with ability to see this Light that is God, but lost that ability when he sinned. And none of his progeny have inherited that capability. We cannot actually see light itself. We can only see the source of light or an object that is reflecting light from a source. Does that not give you any cause to wonder, that we cannot see Light itself since it fills the Cosmos? But I am convinced that at the time he was created Adam could see the entire creation filled with the Light (glory) of God.
Rev. 21:23-24 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. (24) And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. This is the light that fills eternity and the eternal Kingdom of Heaven. This the same light that entered the Cosmos when God said “Let there be light.”
Genesis 1:4-5 "And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. (5) And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day."
God divided the light from the darkness. Since the entirety of His Creation was still just a massive ball of water at this point in the Creation Event, and since His light filled all of eternity and all of the Creation, when He divided the light from the darkness, He had to have separated a portion of His creation where He did not allow His light to exist. This place He called, “THE OUTER DARKNESS.”
Matt. 22:13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
The Outer Darkness is a place prepared for those who have no faith. For those who did not want to “keep God in their Knowledge.” Rom. 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
The Outer Darkness is a place that God has prepared for those who do not want anything to do with Him to spend Eternity. It is a place that He made, and then removed himself from it, so that He does not exist in it. Only the Godhead can do such a thing.. Those who want nothing to do with God will have exactly what they have wanted, and they shall have it for eternity. And “there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” It is a place of eternal Night and Death. It is not a punishment you want to enter into. I ask you now, “Do you really want to have nothing to do with the Godhead? Would you rather live in slavery with Satan and his demons in eternal night than ask Jesus to save you from this judgment?” I pray you will consider your fate if you have not asked to be saved. We are born lost to God and if we wish to continue to live as we were born, and your bodies die in that condition, the mind and the spirit within that dead body will spend eternity in the Outer Darkness that the Godhead has prepared to grant you what desire.
The Power to Love
1 Pet. 4:8-9 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall
cover the multitude of sins. (9) Use hospitality one to another without grudging.
Rom. 13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath
fulfilled the law.
John 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. (23) I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. Isa. 45:22-23
1 Cor. 12:31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.
1 Cor. 13:8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
