THE SEVENTH SEAL

Rev. 8:1-5  And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.  (2)  And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.  (3)  And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.  (4)  And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.  (5)  And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.

That which is written when the Seventh seal is removed is a refrencee to the Third Chapter of Ezekiel. The silence in Heaven in Rev. 8:1 corresponds to the week that Ezekiel sat with the captives by the River Chebar before speaking to them. EZ. 8:15-21 Then I came to them of the captivity at Telabib, that dwelt by the river of Chebar, and I sat where they sat, and remained there astonished among them seven days.  (16)  And it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,  (17)  Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.  (18)  When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.  (19)  Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.  (20)  Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.  (21)  Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.

The angel that stands before the altar with “much incense” corresponds to the intercession the Holy Spirit makes with the prayers of the saints: Rom 8:26  Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Ez. 3:1-3  Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel.  (2)  So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll.  (3)  And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.

The roll given to Ezekiel in verse 1 above corresponds to the “little book” John was given in The Revelation. Rev 10:5-11  And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,  (6)  And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:  (7)  But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.  (8)  And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.  (9)  And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.  (10)  And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.  (11)  And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.

Ez. 3:4-9  And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them.  (5)  For thou art not sent to a people of a strange speech and of an hard language, but to the house of Israel;  (6)  Not to many people of a strange speech and of an hard language, whose words thou canst not understand. Surely, had I sent thee to them, they would have hearkened unto thee.  (7)  But the house of Israel will not hearken unto thee; for they will not hearken unto me: for all the house of Israel are impudent and hardhearted.  (8)  Behold, I have made thy face strong against their faces, and thy forehead strong against their foreheads.  (9)  As an adamant harder than flint have I made thy forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.

Rev. 8:5  And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.

When the censer is filled fire from the altar and the all of the prayers of the saints that have been answered that they should be patiient and wait a while longer will be answered. The seven trumpets are earth’s last warning before the Wrath of God falls upon the earth. The last part seen when the seventh seal was removed said that and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.  All of these are sign that The Godhead is about to speak to the earth in anger. When we see an unusually lagrge amount of these things happening world wide, we should know that the Seventh Seal has been lifted in Heaven!

The Power to Love

1 Pet. 4:8-9  And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall

cover the multitude of sins.  (9)  Use hospitality one to another without grudging.

Rom. 13:8  Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath

 fulfilled the law.

John 15:12  This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.  (23)  I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. Isa. 45:22-23

1 Cor. 12:31  But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.

1 Cor. 13:8  Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
