THE TIME OF WRATH
Rev. 15:1-8 And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God. (2) And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. (3) And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. (4) Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest. (5) And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened: (6) And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles. (7) And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever. (8) And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.
John then saw another sign in Heaven. He called the sign Great and Marvelous. It was a great sign because it included the entire Planet of Earth, and it was marvelous because he was shown the saints of both the Old and the New Covenants having received the Baptism of Holy Spirit and with Fire which John the Baptist said Jesus would accomplish. (Luke 3:16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:)
In this vision John saw the saints standing on top of the sea of glass mingled with fire. This indicates that the Baptism had already been received. The sea is the brass basin that was placed between the Tabernacle of the Congregation and the Altar in the the Tabernacle. (see Ex. 31:17-21) Water Baptism is symbolic of Baptism of the Holy Spirit. The word in the Greek from which “baptism” is derived is, baptismah.” It means immersion or submergence, to be completely overwhelmed by something. It is symbolic of the the what the Holy Spirit does to sin in the Spirit of man when He drives out the Adamic Spirit with His Holy Present at the instant of belief in Jesus. From that instant forward, the Holy Spirit is making intercession for us for our sins of our bodies of flesh in which lives no good thing.
It is one of the deepest mysteries of the Christian faith how totally effective the Holy Spirit is in keeping the Christian holy before the Father. When a Christian sins in the body, Satan accuses him before the Father but Jesus immediately intercedes for us saying he is covered by my blood and the Blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all unrighteousness. It is no longer the Christian that sins, but sin that lives in the flesh of a dead Adamic Body. That is why all of creation growns together with us awaiting for the redemption of the body. (Rom. 8:22-23)
It is a great mystery, but at the time the Holy Spirit replaces the Adamic Spirit in us He also gives us the Mind Of Christ. But we still have an Adamic brain. The Mind of Christ is at war with the Adamic Brain fighting against the passions and emotions being constantly stirred up by Satan. The Adamic Brain controls the Adamic body which is dead because of Sin. That is why the Apostle Paul told us that when we sin, it is no more we that sin, but the sin that lives in the flesh. (Rom. 7:14-23)
Every believer is sealed by the Holy Spirit in the instant of belief. Standing on the sea of glass mingled with fire is symbolic of the this sealing, and “Endurance to the End” is symbolic of The Baptism of Fire. Their “Faith is the Victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name!” It cannot be sung too often, “Faith IS the Victory that Over Comes the World.
And after all of the saints are seen standing on the sea of Glass, John sees the seven angels coming out of the Temple dressed as pure and faithful priests of God being ready to execute his judgment upon entire Cosmos and those who are enemies of the Cross of Jesus, our Lord. This scene closes out the Gospel of Grace. The next Covenant will be for the Millennial Kingdom.
“... And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.” This marks the end of the Age of Grace. Once Judgment falls, there is no more room for mercy. At the final judgment each soul lost to these plagues will be reminded of every opportunity they had to ask for mercy and be saved. They loved sin more than their creator and now comes the reckoning. Humanists consider this Judgment to Harsh, evil, and wicked. It only proves their sinful, willful souls to be so full of themselves that they had taken upon themselves to be the judges of all things. Now they can hate Jesus for eternity.
The next time the Temple in Heaven will be opened will be at the start of the Millennial Kingdom and it will open up a New Covenant that will be enforce during the Millennium.
Rev 14:1-3 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads. (2) And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: (3) And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
Rev 14:6-7 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, (7) Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
More will be seen of this on the page “The Millennial Kingdom.”
The Power to Love
1 Pet. 4:8-9 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall
cover the multitude of sins. (9) Use hospitality one to another without grudging.
Rom. 13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath
fulfilled the law.
John 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. (23) I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. Isa. 45:22-23
1 Cor. 12:31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.
1 Cor. 13:8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
